Review by hotel critic
Nestled conveniently close to Verona's vibrant old town, B&B Verona Centro boasts a favorable location for travelers. We stayed in a deluxe double room for two nights, and I'd say it delivers on both comfort and practicality. The room's modern decor and cleanliness were appreciated; it featured a lovely balcony that overlooked the historic streets-ideal for peaceful moments. Serena, the host, exemplified hospitality. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and equipped us with useful insights about the city, including a handy map revealing local eateries and attractions. While the absence of 24-hour reception might be a concern for some, we found the arrangement to be user-friendly and efficient, with accessible communication via WhatsApp. A noteworthy mention is the breakfast, which Serena personally prepares. It's simply delightful, though I did miss scrambled eggs. For those driving, obtaining a parking card from Serena is worthwhile, ensuring convenient access. While this B&B offers a luxurious feel, it retains practicality and value-a fine balance for travelers seeking a cozy spot without extravagant expenses. I'd certainly recommend it for anyone looking to explore Verona without losing out on comfort.
